A new H&M store opens in Qatar

H&M , the Swedish-based international fashion retailer opened in Qatar.Located in Doha's Villaggio, the new H&M store occupies 2,200 square meters of fashion and feature the retailer's most fashion forward collections for women, men, teens and children. Rolf Eriksen, CEO of H&M, said, "After the successful opening of H&M in Dubai and Kuwait last year, we are both excited and proud to bring H&M and its latest styles and fashion trends to customers in Qatar." Mohamed Alshaya, Chairman of Alshaya Retail,said, "This region is a very fashion forward market looking for quality retail experience. H&M's ideology of offering customers added value through fashion and quality at the best price has proved to be immensely popular and successful in the Middle East." This spring/summer 2007, H&M is taking another look back in time, with a collection that is inspired by 50s, 60s and 70s nostalgia. This spring, Qatar is also set to experience yet another H&M first. H&M has teamed up with Madonna to create ‘M by Madonna', a line of clothing and accessories that is scheduled to arrive in all stores carrying the women's wear collection on the 22nd of March.
