Giordano, the Middle East’s leading casual wear retailer launched its latest store in the Dubai Festival City, with a clear message that casual wear is more than just wardrobe basics. Giordano’s collection is the essence of fashion, a timeless platform to build upon and includes some of this summer’s must-have outfits. Two hundred loyal customers were invited to the event, along with fashion and lifestyle media.  Also present at the launch was Ishwar Chugani, Executive Director for Giordano, Middle East and Africa along with the company’s management team. The afternoon event was a success due to the support of its loyal customers and several highlights. Kicking off with a live fashion show, the event allowed the audience to get a glimpse of Giordano’s upcoming summer collection, including its popular linen line which will be available in stores through the summer months. To add to the ambiance, a DJ played upbeat summer tunes, while invitees and guests were treated to surprise gifts and discounts on purchases. Giordano’s summer collection offers a choice of multi-functional, stylish clothing of timeless quality in comfortable light fabric. Radiant white and subtle shades of grey dominate the collection. A beautiful feeling of lightness flows through Giordano’s new range, with new exciting combinations that can be created with casual denim or trousers matched with girly, feminine tops or printed polo t-shirts. “Consumers look for comfortable clothes during summer but still wish to sport a contemporary, modern look. This is what we have tried to achieve through our latest collection - stylish yet relaxed, “said Naomi Kasad, Giordano’s buying manager. Ishwar Chugani delivered a short address to welcome guests, providing more details regarding the new store and Giordano’s future plans.  “We are very excited about our new store at DFC, which marks our 18th store in Dubai and 31st in the UAE.  We continuously strive to make the most of what this dynamic market has to offer and look forward to launching many new stores throughout the region.  The Giordano team has always placed great value in providing excellent customer service and quality casual wear that matches the needs and likes of our clientele. Guests got a sneak preview of the season’s range, which was carefully assembled into ten different outfits for both male and female.   “The summer collection is characterized by linens and other light fabrics that are ideal for the hot summer. The designs are simple, yet ideal to dress up or down. Our linen collection is one of our best sellers, and customers were excited to see what we have in store and what they can expect next month,” concluded Chugani. One can play with the styles and the colour combinations so that outfits cross-match for maximum use for different occasions. Men’s collection this summer includes shirts and blazers that are smart enough to wear anywhere. The fabric used ensures cool comfort all day long. There are also printed tees, striped shirts and polo to easily go with denim, cargo pants or skaters.
