'Pakistan Fashion Week' a step into global fashion market

Karachi, A red-carpet ceremony was held at a Lahore club on Saturday for introducing to the media and local dignitaries the forthcoming Pakistan Fashion Week. The Jang Group of Newspapers, Geo Television and IMG Asia-Pacific are jointly holding and sponsoring the Pakistan Fashion Week. Famous fashion designers and other personalities related to the Pakistan fashion industry are taking part in the extravaganza of Pakistan Fashion Week. The red-carpet ceremony was used as a thorough occasion for introducing to the media and other eminent personalities new designs and trends in the local fashion industry. A briefing for the media was also held at the red-carpet ceremony that was addressed by the IMG Asia-Pacific Managing-Director, Simon P. Lock, and also by the IMG’s Production In-charge, Jarrard Clark. The Pakistan Fashion Week is being held to promote the local fashion industry, its creators, and designers for the global fashion market. The event will also be used as an opportunity for further accelerating the efforts for making the Pakistan industry part of the global fashion industry.
