A new retail concept, PRstore was created to provide marketing tools, promotional products and expert advice to small businesses, non-profits, civic groups, faith-based organization and individuals who do not traditionally utilize full-service ad agencies and public relations firms. Operating in a casual retail storefront setting, the PRstore fills a void for service in the wide gap that exists between the free-lancer and the full- service agency, according to store owner Fee Stubblefield. Stubblefield said, "The need for these services among start-ups and the small business community is both critical and long-standing." The PRstore's products and services are designed to meet all the most common marketing needs from consulting to concept development to writing and producing traditional printed materials like brochures, newsletters and press releases as well as design and production services for logos, letterhead, web sites, print ads- even radio and TV spots.PRstore is also unique in that our marketing services are offered on a one-stop, turnkey basis with everything being available under one roof,"he added. Walk-ins are encouraged at PRstore. Lavish conference rooms are non- existent. There is never a discussion about retainers or contracts. Small business owners simply choose the marketing services they need from a broad range of custom products. PRstore's marketing professionals are available to guide customers who may be unsure about how to maximize their marketing dollars. Rounding out its offerings, PRstore also carries a full range of specialty advertising items that can be imprinted with a company logo. The Tualatin PRstore is part of a national franchise program launched in August 2002 by PRS Franchise Systems, LLC based in Charlotte, NC. More than 350 stores are expected to be in operation in the next five years in high- traffic retail areas around the country.
